Investment objectives and risk
Your portfolio will be invested according to your individual needs. However, portfolios are generally created and managed to pursue one of three main objectives:
Capital Growth
Your portfolio will be invested with the primary aim of generating growth in the value of the funds held.
Generating income is not a significant objective, although capital growth portfolios will generally produce a low level of income because sometimes income will arise as a consequence of recommending an investment primarily for its capital growth potential.
Balanced
We will invest your portfolio with a view to producing a reasonable level of both income and capital growth with equal priority being given to each element.
Income
Your portfolio will be invested with the key goal of producing a high level of income. Increasing capital is not a priority but we will aim to produce some capital growth in order to try to preserve the real value of the funds invested.
